Why it exists
Hobby information is scattered across publisher sites, creator updates, community posts, event pages, distributor records and social platforms. Important changes can disappear into noise, while an unsupported claim can travel further than its correction. Hobby Watch is being built to make that record easier to follow and verify.
Who is responsible
The project is operated by The Orc’s Head team. Software and automated systems help discover, organise, translate and compare information. Human editors remain responsible for what is published, how evidence is labelled, what context is added and how corrections are handled.
What independence means
Coverage is not for sale. Commercial relationships, retailer interests or supplied products must not silently determine an evidence label. Representative source links on the site are starting points, not endorsements, and trademarks remain the property of their owners.
What comes next
The public site is a coming-soon preview. A closed beta will test live feeds, watchlists, alerts, calendar tools, multilingual discovery and retailer workflows before broader launch.
